Hiring veterans offers corporations an opportunity to contribute to America’s global competitiveness and help strengthen the economic base of our local communities. From engaging in corporate sponsorships and vendor partnerships, to job fairs and other recruitment support, Volt’s commitment includes:
- Outreach to all branches of the United States Military
- Corporate co-founder and ongoing sponsor of Hire America’s Heroes
(a non-profit organization) - Providing individual transition job coaching by trained recruiters at Warrior Transition Units (WTUs) across the country
- Providing career-readiness assistance at US Army Soldier and Family Assistance Centers (SFAC)
- Participating in job fairs at military installations at Fort Lewis, Miramar AFB, Camp Pendleton MCB and others
- Participating in Transition Assistance Programs (TAP) and the Army Career
and Alumni Program (ACAP) - Participating in MOAA, AFCEA, Hiring Heroes Career Fairs, and others
- Through Hire America’s Heroes, co-developing military recruitment tools that help recruiters translate Military Occupation Specialties (MOS) to civilian jobs
- Our services are provided at NO COST to the transitioning veteran
